Hallelujah … A Heart-Warmer

Sometimes something moves one to tears.   A fragment of beauty or a moment of pure sweetness.   This YouTube clip is one such event.   Filmed by a teacher in Quinhagaka, a small village school in Alaska, it encompasses all my dreams of spreading the joy of wonderful music into the hearts of young students everywhere.

These enchanting students from the 5th Grade at Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat school along with some of the village adults have come together to present their own “pageant” even though none of them are singing.   They’re joyfully accompanying the music in a delightful array of situations with a tool as simple as word cards.   This is a true heart-warmer.   Enjoy.

Good as it gets. All the happy faces and a community project more difficult to produce than it seems!
